Once the "Penn Station of the East," the Old Paco Railway Station.
Designed by American architect William Parsons in the Beaux-Arts and Neoclassical styles, inspired by New York’s original Penn Station.
From colonial grandeur to a wartime graveyard, and now a silent skeleton in the heart of the city.
The station sits just down the road from Paco Park, a former Spanish-era municipal cemetery notoriously known as one of the most haunted locations in Manila.
Locals often blend the supernatural lore of both sites, believing the restless spirits of war casualties wander freely between the two colonial ruins.
