A Look at Heath Ledger’s Photography

Revealed in the 2017 documentary I Am Heath Ledger, the actor’s passion for photography and visual art was an integral part of his life. Away from the screen, Ledger was rarely without a camera — capturing friends, travels, and quiet moments on Polaroid film. He often transformed these images into mixed-media works, painting and drawing over them with colored markers, paint, and even nail polish. The result was raw, intimate, and deeply personal — a glimpse into the creative restlessness that defined him beyond acting.
